Hilton Garden Inn Heads to Shangri-La in Yunnan

Featuring a Tibetan design style, the Hilton Garden Inn Shangri-La is the third internationally-branded hotel in the city by the marque.

Hilton Garden Inn has opened its third internationally-branded hotel in Shangri-La, Yunnan. The Tibetan-style property sits within seven kilometres of the Diqing Shangri-La Airport, while close to 1,300-year-old ancient town of Dekezong and the Gedan Songzanglin Monastery.

The getaway offers 233 guestrooms and suites featuring premium bedding and hypoallergenic pillows among other key amenities. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the establishment, while travellers have access to both a 24-hour gym and self-service laundromat.

The new location provides 187 square meters of meeting and banquet space for business and social events. Dining options include The Garden Grille, which entails a noodle bar, international buffets, and a diverse menu of Sichuan, Yunnan, Western, Cantonese as well as Tibetan cuisine.
