Irony of ironies—a blackout occurred at CES 2018 on Wednesday, as the plethora of electronics blew a switch in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Central Hall. The hashtag #CESblackout quickly went viral as thousands of attendees were left in the dark.
The lone booth that kept its lights on? Jasco Products Company, a licensee for Energizer that manufactures products such as Energizer-branded motion sensor lights, utility lights and ceiling light fixtures.
Linda Morgenstern, VP of Brand Management for Beanstalk, a Jasco Products partner, sent us these photos with a note: “Thought this might be of interest to you considering the value of the original Energizer battery at a conference with the most advanced tech in the world. Even when the most infallible beast like CES goes dark, Energizer products will keep on going.”
