Sprite has rolled out Vince Staples’ music video for Rain Come Down, which is the second single from his new album titled Big Fish Theory.
Spotlighting the second single from his new album, Big Fish Theory, Sprite has unveiled a full-length music video produced by the brand for endorser, Vince Staples. Directed by David Helman and titled Rain Come Down, the hip-hop track features artiste, Ty Dolla $ign.
Picking up where the rapper’s last ‘stranded at sea’ themed video, Big Fish, left off, Staples’ new video has him stranded in a desert with only an empty Sprite bottle to guide him, which he spins to escape the desert. He finds refuge at a diner and enjoys his favourite drink.
“Vince Staples has been an incredible brand ambassador over the past several years. We are thrilled to help him introduce a video that is true to his unique point-of-view and style,” said Bobby Oliver, Director, Sprite & Citrus Brands for Coca-Cola North America.
The collaboration with Staples is part of the beverage giant’s summer campaign and recently launched Cold Lyrics Series. Coca-Cola was a global winner of the 2016-2017 World Branding Awards in the Beverages – Softdrinks category.
