Kavalan Raises Glass to Distillery Select Debut

Distillery Select by Kavalan is served in a bottle with a silhouette inspired by the shape of Taiwan’s tallest skyscraper—Taipei 101.

Alcoholic beverages maker, Kavalan, has rolled out Distillery Select, a new single malt whisky that comes in a bottle whose design spotlights Taiwan’s tallest skyscraper. The profile features four fruity flavours to include green apply, mango, pineapple, and cherry.

With a volume of 700 millilitres, the spirit is crafted from whisky aged in some of the finest refill casks, while reliant on the climate of Yilan, creating a balanced drop with notes of soft toffee and lively fruits. The liquor is available across both the United States and Europe.

“Expressed Kavalan at its best. Smooth and elegant on the nose with lots of fruits. Rich and complex in the mouth with sweet vanilla and toffee notes. Not only a great sipping whisky; a unique mixable single malt also,” said Thierry Benitah, CEO of La Maison du Whisky.

Master blender and global brand ambassador, Ian Chang, has said the consumers can expect a consistency of quality with the newly released Taiwanese-made beverage.
