Westminster Station in London has been taken over by The Times and Sunday Times who have turned it into a jungle as part of the ‘Politics. Tamed.’ campaign.
The rebranding of the London underground station includes lush green wines around the outside of the station awning and even the tannoy announcements referring to the station as ‘Westminster Jungle’.
The activation is part of national newspapers’ campaign “Politics. Tamed.” which aims to keep readers well informed in “confusing political time”.
The rebrand of the station is part of a larger campaign featuring animals as politicians which first launched earlier this year.
The head of brand and campaigns at The Times and The Sunday Times, Lynne Fraser commented: “This activity has taken our political animals out of the zoo and into the jungle: something that we feel represents the shift in the political landscape since we launched the campaign six months ago.
“Reflecting the mood of the nation in a refreshing way we want to reach out to audiences and reassure them that The Times and The Sunday Times are here to guide them through.”
